Start your mornings by using the first minute of your day to do these two simple things:
ONE. Say out loud the 3 things you are grateful for today. It can be something as simple as having a roof over your head, a relationship with a family member, being healthy, living in a war free country, having your eyesight, enjoying sunshine. The practice of gratitude trains your brain to think positively about your life and what you have going for you. Time: 30 seconds.
TWO. Ask yourself this question: what is the one thing you are committed to completing today? It is likely you will have many things on your agenda for any particular day; however, you need to identify one thing that you intend to complete. As soon as you ask the question, give an answer out loud right away. This forces you to prioritize your goals and gives more focus and purpose to your day. Time: 30 seconds.
